Two job fairs will be held later this month at locations in southeast Alabama.
The Opelika Career Center will host a Job Fair Tuesday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Armory located at 300 Consumer Ave. in Opelika.
And the 14th annual Ft. Rucker Area Job Fair will happen Thursday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Enterprise High School gymnasium.
Both are free events, open to the public.
In addition, there will be a Job Fair Preparation Workshop July 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Frank Brown Recreation Center, located at 235 Opelika Rd. in Auburn. Jobseekers will be instructed on how to prepare for the job fair and how to navigate the job search process.
There are currently 13 employers signed up for the Opelika job fair, including Auburn University, Tuskegee University, East Alabama Medical Center and the Veterans Administration.

More than 130 employers are scheduled to attend the Enterprise Job Fair, including Aecom, Aeroteams, Arista Aviation, BAE Systems, CAE, CVS, and more. More than 3,500 available jobs are represented.
Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register online. Pre-registering will allow for faster entry, and participants are strongly encouraged to print their confirmation and bring it with them to the job fair or to save their confirmation e-mail on their phones. Jobseekers may also register on-site.
Veterans will be given priority assistance at both fairs and those with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to register and attend.
Employers who wish to register for the Enterprise job fair can also visit the website or contact the Enterprise Career Center at (334) 347-0044. There is no charge for employers to participate.
Applicants should come to either job fair with multiple copies of their resumes, dressed professionally and prepared to interview.
