Gordon mayor indicted on four charges including voter fraud

The mayor of Gordon was indicted Thursday on absentee voter fraud charges. A grand jury found there is sufficient evidence to take Elbert Melton to trial. Melton is accused of falsifying three absentee ballots and illegally taking control over $1700 of the town of Gordon’s money, a Class B felony. He has been free on bond since his March arrest ... Enterprise law enforcement looking for courthouse escapee

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) — Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton identifies the escapee as Antonio Pouncey. Sutton says Pouncey was in drug court, and failed a drug test. Woman accused of selling fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills
