Gordon mayor indicted on four charges including voter fraud

The mayor of Gordon was indicted Thursday on absentee voter fraud charges. A grand jury found there is sufficient evidence to take Elbert Melton to trial. The Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help locating an escaped inmate.
